I need to download a driver for a Samsung MP# PLayer YP-K3JQBY and have no idea where to get the driver. I got the software on their website. Why not the driver? Do you know where I can go?

    I have the same problem. The software doesn't seem to be a driver because my mp3 player still doesn't show up anywhere after installing the software. I can't find any drivers yet for this, that will make it show up as connected to my computer so I can put more music on it.

Have a Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player and need to install driver for it put don't have the installation cd! I cannot find a site to download it from can you help?!!
You can find the software downloads for your products in the samsung website here:

you should click in the 'downloads' tab the 'software' link and then download and install the 'multi media studio' application.

Download the hardware for MP-Y3 (we cannot find CD Rom)
This will take you to the Samsung website where you can download the user manual, or softwear that you need.
You will have to find your model number because you did not say if it was a:

YP-K3JAB

You will click on the one that is your MP3 player at the website to get the info you need.

I can't find a driver for my Samsung mp3 yp-u3 player
You need to go to Samsung's website and find there download page and enter your exact model number of the mp3 player (there are quite a few that start with YP-U3 so you will need to figure out its exact model number) and enter the number in the search box and click ok, once it brings you to the page for your model look for a tab that says software and click it then download the program samsung media studio and install it which should install the appropriate drivers for your mp3 player

The CD that i can install my mp3 player with won't work.

Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player requires driver but I have no cd!!
I've had this problem. Windows media player doesn't seem to find it, and I couldn't figure out which file I needed from the site. I have xp, but I'm assuming this might also work for vista. Go to Control Panel. Open System. Click the Hardware tab. Click the Device manager button. Find the yellow question mark labled Samsung YP-K3 and doubble click it. This should open a window that will let you (re)install the driver, which it will find for you after having you set up a few simple options. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,

Downloaded Microsoft Media Player version 11 and installed.
I recall somebody mentioning this somewhere. Now when I go to device manager and select update driver the YP-U3 device driver is found automatically.
Also downloaded other software from Samsung website.
