The office I run for a big company is to be closed and have decided to work from home, how do I get my present office number transferred to replace my present home number?

The answer depends on a number of factors which you haven't mentioned, such as the country you reside in, the telecoms service providers at home and at work, the physical distance between them, and last but not least, whether you retain the rights to the work number (if billed to your employer you have none).

You'll only find the definitive answers you require by contacting the relevant telecoms providers. If the company you work for is asking you to work from home, then they will need to arrange to get the number transferred or even to have an additional line fitted to your home. In practice these days, an additional line doesn't always involve an additional physical connection to your home. A separate line solely for work is also useful for taxation purposes in most countries.

the short answer is NO. Earlier versions of Office carry older versions of fonts they have since done away with, but are still really sought after. Your older version( unless instructed to do so by the software because of the age gap between the programs) should continue to serve you well AND, with the newer version installed, it incorporates the fonts from the older version.

As a VERY reputable computer software and hardware repair specialist, please do not go to Office 365 because you have to renew it every year and has glitches in not wanting to respond correctly and\or erasing that big presentation you just typed all of your notes out or, you just finished that really big term paper but, since you forgot to renew it, all of your effort and hard work is gone.

PLEASE go and get an Office Suite 2010, 2013, 2016 and use it.

Now, if you are trying to go from Office XP to Office 2007, there is just too much of a clash between versions that it will make you uninstall the older version.

Also, please note that your current version of Windows may not allow anything under a certain version of Office to be installed so proceed with caution.

A good FREE option to all of this madness is a program called Libre Office. I will put in the URL so you can go to it. It IS free so it won't hurt to try it.

Wire transfers are used to transfer funds through an electronic payment service.
Sometimes, companies make wire transfers to quickly pay suppliers.

The process requires a small amount of paper work.
Wire transfers involve transferring money from a company's bank account into the supplier's bank account.

The funds are available within a few minutes after the process is initiated.
Get recipient information.

Get documentation from the intended recipient that contains his name, company name, company address, bank account number and routing number.

Acquire the information via fax. If a mistake is made, the fax will prove that the information was supplied by the recipient.


Inform the bank officer that you would like to make a wire transfer. If you have never sent a wire transfer, it is best to go to the bank to complete the first wire transfer transaction.

Future transactions can be initiated via fax or though an online banking system. Provide your banking account information.

Expect the bank officer to ask for identification prior to processing the initial bank transfer.
She / He will want to confirm that you are authorized to make a wire transfer from the company bank account.

She / He will then access your account information to confirm the availability of the amount of the wire transfer.

The bank account number, routing number and company name will be listed on the wire transfer request.


Tell the exact amount of money to be transferred.
Make sure the amount is accurate.

Once the money is transferred to the recipient's account, you will not be able to make corrections without the help of the recipient.

I have many ring binders and I don't know if they should be presented on my bookcase or hide them behind closed doors


It depends where you put them - if you plan to put it in your home office, that make sense and I don't think that you need to hide them. Remember that there are some very cool colorful looking binders and you can use them to add a little color and character to your home office. If you are planning on the living room - it is a different story and then maybe you should consider bookcases with doors.

Two domain controllers. Rights and Policy conflict


The system administrator must administrate the system. You should never have a system administrator that you don't trust. Technically, you would have to make the company president the system administrator and then create a domain administrator on a second server that has control over just that server. So the president could control all of the permissions of the entire organization but the system admin could control whatever users the president allowed him to.
