Question about Intermatic EI210 Electronic Auto Shutoff Timers
When you take off the old switch you will have two wires going to it. One is a hot and the other is a switchleg. On your timer you have a red wire which connects to the wire going to your light(switch leg) a black which connects to the hot feed and a white which will connect to the neutral in the box. (If you do not have a neutral this timer will not work) The neutrals will be white wires that are connected together with a wirenut and pushed in the rear of the box.
