Question about Memorex MMP8565 MP3 Player

Hi, my memorex is not switching on now.before it was showing boot error,shutting down, so i formatted it and added new songs and now its stable ie... it switches off in a second after i switch it on...is there any solution? even i tried doing with the reset button.

I suggest you update the firmware of the player. The update available at Memorex web site:

If that does not work, it may be a problem with the player itself. This product has a 90 day warranty and you can call Memorex Product Support at 1-877-363-6673 between noon and 9pm EST if the unit is under warranty.

It seems your new mp3 player memory is already full, you need to delete other files or songs before you added another. If it is not yet full, try to delete and reinstall other songs. Be sure the file songs you added has no error on it.
That the only things you will do, the mp3 player operate normally and trouble come as you add new songs, don't overload it, as it's built in memory will fail.

When I turn my player on it says boot error, shutting down I have songs on it and have been using it for five months. This is a new problem. Memorex mmp8567


Memorex=3M. Like the video tapes, it's guaranteed for life. There's probably nothing you can do yourself if it uses MTP as opposed to UMS, otherwise you could just format it on your PC and start over.

auyou got to reformat your mp4.
for that you got to go to "my computer", do a rigth click on the mp4 icon and select reformat.f43e9f3.jpg please rated my solution...8f2ec94.jpg

I have also had the same problem. Go to Google mail and type "MMP8567 boot error" in the search. You will get results where there is links to get the firmware. Especially, from FixYa. Down load the firmware and install it in your PC. Then it will format your player and install the new firmware. Your recorded songs will be lost.
