If your iPhone is jailbroken (do not restore from iTunes) Instead try to restore using the jailbreak software used originally. Please take note as to why I displayed the top message first. As for the iPhone through iTunes, you are stuck in what is known as a boot loop error. A restore from iTunes is required provided your iPhone is not jailbroken. The 5.1.0 release for the jailbreak is not yet out and you will not be able to downgrade back to 5.0.0 once you restore from iTunes.
use itunes applications tab for your iphone to remove (by clearing check box) the sys.inf (if it is an application) you of course have to have your iphone connected to your computer to do this.. click apply and the phone shoould sync with itunes and remove the application that (may) be the reason your iphone won't boot... If this fails try a restore of your ipone using the button in the summary screen for your phone in itunes
well currently this is only officially done via iTunes, with a purchased iTunes ringtones. Unoffically applications like iToner for mac or iBrickr for windows are available online. You may have to look around for them but they are available.
You need to get it into service mode, Hold down the power button + the home button for like 10seconds, and it should come up with the yellow triangle. iBricker should be able to see the phone, click reboot/fix the phone on iBricker, it should book up normally..
