D-link(DI-524) won't connect to my laptop (acer aspire 5520g)
I got a laptop (off the shelf) and i came home and tried to log onto the internet with the wireless router. It keeps saying 'the setting saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements for the network'
the conection is 100% and i have windows vistanotsure wich version)
PLEASE HELP i am really frustrated and disapointed.

solution is try to re install the Windows Vista back and see whether the TPM will show missing. sometimes thats happening to most of the systems. when you try to put another windows thats did not came with the product, you will miss some functions such as drivers, battery not charging, internet not working, audio not working and many more. so put back windows vista and whether your problem still existing.
otherwise go to device manager, and check it's properties, then click on the details tab, click on the drop down menu below Property, select hardware IDs and post whatever is written in the value box...
I have had a similar problem to solve this I logged on the Router with the laptop and run through the setup option making sure I was doing this while connected to a USB once I run through the setup and and then rest One thing I forgot to mention is the SSID needs to be the same in the Router and the laptop and any printer you are using and if you are shareing printers they need to be marked as SHARED lets know how you go and if there is a problem leave comment and i will assist further
