Is the speaker with no sound, actually connected to anything? (if it's connected to the first speaker, it's possible that the speaker is simply dead and needs replaced)

Our notebook sound is gone. but when we connect external speaker then sound come so please solve the driver problems as soon as possible.

if you sound comes on when external speakers are plugged in chances are its not a driver issue you internal speakers could be blown if they were blown you would still hear distorted sound coming from them
is you internal speakers on mute? or maybe on really low volume
you can also go into my computer right click on background hardware tab device manager
and if you dont see anything with yellow question marks over it its not a driver issue
im almost certain its a volume issue with your internal speakers

No sound coming from my new speakers. the sound card is installed and when I check the soundon the computer it says it is working properly. I dont know what to do. sound volume is alll the way up

Check Socket Connections. Speaker connector should be plugged to Green Colored Socket.. Check for "Mute" and that should be in turned off. if problem continues, check the speaker cable and speaker circuit section.

It wont ******* work

I am not able to offer a for sure solution because I dont have enough information and can only seem to find small pics of this product on the internet so I am not able to view it well. So I will offer what I can to help.
Perhaps you are not using a 4 channel amp? There also may be a problem with the output terminals on the box itself..maybe the wires inside coming from the subs are not connected properly to the outputs. How are you testing each sub individually? If you are testing with speaker wires coming from you amp well then we know that you amp is working...if you have taken apart the box and messed with the subs to test them maybe there was a small mistake made when reconnecting the wires? Like a positive connected to a negative or something? Maybe a fuse blew on your amp if you have one, or in your car? I cant be certain because there is not to much info to go on here so I hope that what I have given has helped you in some way...if each sub is working when you test them then it is nothing on or with the box except the wires maybe being reversed on accident or a bad connection on the output terminals on the back of the box, make sure those are connected properly on the inside. Other then that its probly not the box...maybe your amp is not big enough to handle all 3 subs and you are running a 2 channel amp and blew a fuse? You may or should get a 4 channel amp if you dont have one...like I said not to much info provided so good luck to you and hope I helped in at least some way!! :)

I am trying to connect my philips speakers to pc but i am not getting any sound beacause i dont know what colour goes in what slot ,i have tried fiddling

Usually speakers are connected at the middle port (whole) of the sound card. But to be able to use your external speakers, please make sure that your sound device is properly installed.

1. Right click "My Computer" icon at desktop and click Properties.
2. Click the Hardware Tab
3. Click the Device Manager button

Make sure that there is no yellow question mark accompanying the sound device.

Speakers come on but no sound comes out.

Well you may want to double check if you have two sound cards if so make sure your pluged into the right one its usually green in color. You also might want to try these on another device and see if they work, speakers dont just give out. There is no fussy logic to them you just got to make sure your connecting them to the right connector on the sound card if its USB speakers then you need to wrok within the confines of drivers.

No sound new install

More information would be required to help you with this problem properly. If you are using an amplifier and have no sound from it, you may just have the remote turn on of the amplifier not connected. The radio should have a blue wire coming from it and that would be the wire that goes to the amplifier to turn it on when the radio is turned on. If the radio has no sound coming from the speakers connected directly to the radio, you may have a bad speaker, bad speaker wire, or even have the speakers connected wrong.

If you can please give me more information about the install, like what model radio, what type of amplifier, how you have connected the wiring, how many speakers and what the speakers are connected to (an amp or the radio), I can help you figure out the problem. But please understand, since I am not there to look at your install, I can not know how you have connected everything. Are you using a universal wiring harness to connect to the factory harness and your radio? Have you added extra speakers? What wires have you connected to the speakers? If you have an amplifier, have you connected the RCA output of the radio to the RCA input of the amplifier? There are many things that must be connected properly for a sound system to work, if you are not familiar with how they connect together you really should have a professional do it for you. If you furnish the needed information I will be glad to help you further. If you do not furnish the needed information there is really nothing more I can help you with.

I have a xm6660.... yellow light...

There are some things I want you to check, 1) Make sure your ground is good and I mean very good, 0 ohms resistance to the negative battery terminal 2) Make sure that your AMP is grounded to that ground point you checked in step 1. 3) Make sure that your power supply B+ wire is one continuous run no taps or spliced connections. 4) Your speakers and woofers are all properly impedance matched to your amplifier (if your amp is 8 ohms then your combined speakers impedance must be 8 ohms total). 5) voltage regulation to amplifier is good. 6) Check all connections and ground points again After these items are done power on your unit and then see if the problem happens again, if it does the issue is inside of the unit, one of the internal components has gone bad and you will need a schematic, a multimeter, and an audio tracer to work on the AMP with.
