my 95 Bonneville wil not start. I'm sure its the anti-theft system. I would like to disable it. Can I pull a fuse, throw a switch, push a button?

Leave key on in the on position its needs to reprogram itself the chip in your key may be damaged or the transponder itself for that they will need to be replaced and reprogramed at your local dealership

making sure vechicle is recieving a crank sensor signal will point you to the key or transponder if no signal would suspect crank sensor harmonic balancers known for damaging sensor

I have a 95 honda civic ex,wont start.ran fine yesterday,wont start this morning.battery is fully charged,new cap and rotor.would do u think might b my problem

if it wont turn over 1st check the ground s on the car and the battery 1st. your battery can be fully charged and the car will not start even over night this can happen. then look at the starter. Note: if you have over 109K on the car and the timing belt has never been replaced you will need to have this checked as well.

My 98 pontiac bonniville alternator dose not maintain the battery charge, replaced alternator and it seems like its not even working now

Great. One question was this a factory rebuild from ACDelco?? If not you found out the hard way that discount auto parts stores sell junk rebuilt Alternators.

Pontiac grand am se 2002 won't turn over and

my pontiac did the same thing and all i had to do was replace the 40amp fuse. you can have someone turning the key while you hit the starter from underneath, if it starts then you need a new starter, if it dont then no, its something else. mine did the exact same thing and it was the 40amp fuse under the hod.

Car won't start. Battery has charge. Replaced

if it does not crank then you might need a starter, if it does crank the you have to check to see if you have fuel pressure

95 blazer doesnt want to charge the battery, when you do get it charged, it will start, but very sluggish, acts like something is wrong with fuel line, but ive replaced all of it...im stumped and want to...

either the battery is on its last legs or the starter motor is burnt out, have battery drop tested first and if it appears ok then use a heavy discharge induction amp meter to measure how many amps the starter is drawing

2000 Pontiac Bonniville won't start - steering wheel won't lock

Sounds like your ignition is failing. I would reccommend a mechanics opinion, however, those are very common symptoms of ignition failure.

Here is the timeline as to what happened to my '95 mustang gt. Maybe then someone can help by understanding the sequence of events. The battery was weak due to me leaving the lights on. I jumped it, and it...

Even though you had the battery checked it may be bad or have a weak cell in it. It can be charged and then keep a surface charge on for a little bit and then die. To check a battery out you need to use a good carbon pile tester and not just one of the old fashioned load testers. I guarantee you that it is most likely the battery. Especially if the battery is 4 plus years old or more. Cold weather just kills batteries as does hot weather. Good luck.
