Question about Labtec Wireless Desktop Keyboard/Mouse 967263-0403

Open Question

I have a labtec wireless laser mouse - P/N : 810- 000822, M/ N : M-RCU151; PID: BT92910. The mouse suddenly stopped working. Batteries seem allright as the light on top of the mouse comes on when we press the 'connect' button at the base. THE USB adapter also seems fine as it lights up when connected to the PC. However, the cursor on the screen won't respond to movements of the mouse.

SOURCE: My mouse just stopped working. I have a cordless

I would start by pressing the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse, then the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse receiver connected to your computer.

If that doesn't work, try replacing the batteries, then going through the Connect method mentioned above.

SOURCE: Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 doesn't work

Hi
If you take the batteries out there is a screw in there. unscrew and open (not easy) with flat knife in the edges wiggling.
attach and touch all the inside wires. I have had the same problem and it is an internal connector problem. Opening and closing aint easy and will take a little patience but it will work.
Good luck

Sounds like you have a touchpad malfunction. If its an older laptop, I would recommend replacing it. Not worth the hassle of trying to install a new touchpad...

Microsoft wireless notebook laser mouse 6000 not working

I have a miscrosoft wireless laser mouse 6000, and it also stopped working on my laptop. I changed the battery, still no workie. I tested the battery in another device, and it was good. I moved the mouse to another computer, and it did not work. The light on the usb connector was lit. [No changes at all to my laptop.]. It seemed like there was no power to the mouse, and I looked at the contacts inside the mouse. The contact just inside the mouse's opening for the battery appeared to be bent down (away from the contact on the battery tray). So, I pulled it up a little so it would connect when the battery drawer closed, and (after tweaking it a couple of times), it finally worked!
