Red alarm light permanently on!

I have Saeco Odea Giro and a few weeks ago red alram light was permanently on. According to the manual, I checked the water tank, bean pot and drip tray. However, it did not work well. And I did the manual priming and cleaning the brew group as a Saeco customer service assistant told me. But still it did not work. What can I do any more? Saeco told me that I may ship it to Saeco Customer Service and I have to pay for the delivery despite of in warranty. I wish I fix it by myself. Give me a best solution please.

Hi.
First turnthe machine on.
Then take out everything watertank, dreg draw and brewingunit and have the door opened to the brewing area.

have them out for about 1 minute and then put it back together again.
if this dosent help please check if the machine respond to removing the dregdraw, beanlid.

It will do it by making the constant red ligth flash instead.

if they respond make sure that the watertank is filled to max.
if that is the case it is the watertank sensor that is broken.

    sry forgot the say this.

Made a silly mistake at home forgetting to turn the steam knob all the way back one time. that also makes the redligt constant.

    so check that to :)

If the water tank sensor isn't working, you can trick the machine into working by attaching a small magnet, and taping it to the magnet on the dreg discard box. You will see a small metalic opening on the box, so if you attach a small powerful magnet, the machine will think that the water tank is in place.Be careful though, if the water sensor isn't working, you may drag air into the circuit if you don't keep the water filled, and will then have to purge the system. Try these: 30 Neodymium Magnets 1 4 1 16 inch Disc N48

Hi, I have a Saeco Talea Giro Plus machine and have only used it a few times. Now the alarm light is permanently on, but the machine has enough coffee and water and the drip tray and dregdrawer are empty....

Hi Natasja, try pull out the driptray and dreg draw while the machine is on and wait about 10 secs. When the red light start flashing, put the parts back. The red light should dissappear. Good luck.

Red light is on (looks like an M) and I don't know why??

It means time to descale , however if you want to get rid of it, just press and hold the water button until it goes off.
To descale..fill the container with descaler and let water goes through the system by openning the valve and catch the descaler with a container. Turn off the machine a few minutes and start the process all over again for 1/2 hr, and finally with water to wash the system.(donot want to heat up the descaler too much)

Red ! light comes on and will not work

If it is a steady light water tank is not properly in OR dregs counting and drip tray is full. Pull out the drip tray and wait for the red light changes in to flashing, then put back the drip tray.

Re Odea Giro Plus - Cannot stop the red alarm

The problem is with the flow meter which is a turbine unit that is installed before the pump.Either there is a blockage or the unit is bad.Have to open the machine to get into it.

My Saeco Odea Giro has the element light permanently on (not flashing) and the strength light is set to 3, I cannot change it. I have tried descaling, cleaning etc. Any ideas?

The element light is saying it,s time to descale. Since you have done that you can remove it by holding down the water button for a few seconds until it goes off.The strenght light?.checked whether it is not sticking.

Machine stoppped working

Try this remove the brew unit and clean the screen on the unit, then insert unit, and open steam/hot water valve to prime. If that does not work then there might be a malfunction with the pump, I am assuming that the machine is only 2 weeks old?
