Open Question

Hi, I have the Philips Norelco T980 Turbo Vacuum Trimmer. I just recharged it, yet when I tried using it I heard this very high-pitched sound coming from it. It still does not work. How can I fix this?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I would like to know

T980 models sold in the US are for use with 120V only. You should be able to read the voltage requirements on the charger. This information should be printed on the transformer.

Hair trimmer vibrating too much

I also use Philips Norelco Trimmer doesn't vibrate. It's rechargeable so has a "rotary" motor instead of a "vibratory" mechanism. It does a great job on my beard, though I have not tried it for the hair on my head.
you must try it.

My Qt4050 seems to be charging ok, but I can no turn it on with the on-off button. Any fix for this problem?

Might be a silly question but are trying to turn it on whilst the charger is connected? Most (if not all) of the Phillips rechargeable shavers will only operate without the charger connected so as to avoid connection to the mains whilst in a bathroom etc.

Can I replace the trimmer blades (not the shaver heads) on my Philips 8175XL? I use them all the time and they are wearing out. Where do I get them and how do I install them?

You will find a replacement trimmer at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

http://shaveroutlet.com/shaver-replacement-parts/norelco-philips-8100-series-sideburn-trimmer-p-388.html

See disassembly video tutorial at shaveroutlet.com using the link below. You will not have to disassemble as far as the video shows. Just remove the back cover and the trimmer can be 'disjointed' from the cover
