Question about Mitsubishi WD-65731 65" HDTV
Recently, my TV will randomly start flickering and the color gets distorted, almost looks like a strobe light. Does anyone know what this could be? Lamp? Light engine or wheel? I want to get an idea before I start calling local techs. Already spoke to Mitsubishi and only could recommend local techs. I want to get as much info as possible before I call local techs. I feel like they will charge me to look at the TV but won't be able to fix it. Basically am anticipating aggravation on trying to fix the TV. How about pricing? Anyone have an idea on how much these parts are? I'm already aware about how much the lamp is, but am concerned about how much these other parts? Thanks in advance for any info
It sounds as though there is a problem on the main board and yes,it will be expensive to repair.i would guess between 400 to 600 possibly more depending on how much damage is on the main board. i know this isnt what you want to hear but i have a friend that has a tv repair shop and i know he gets big money for repairs on big screens.
