SOURCE: I have dx2480 business pc

With this being a Buisness pc, only authorised people are allowed to open the case.
You have triggered the alarm and will need an administrator to over ride this fault.
IF a password has not been set, you may be able to reset this.

Please suggest the problem of Error " 912 the machine cover hasbeen removed since last system startup please ensure that any system access was authorized

Sounds like your Bios has a setting for a case sensor that detects when someone opens the case.It is just saying "If you or someone you know opened the case for to work inside then don't worry as the message is correct. If you don't have knowledge the case was opened, then you should check if someone else with access to the machine did."

Hi!

Even after resetting the chassis cover the system generate this error. What you can do is:

1. Make sure that the chassis side cover is closed if not fix it as directed in the assembly guide.
2. Ensure that any system access was authorized, check all the hardware ensuring that no hardware has been changed or removed.
3. Then enter the BIOS setup by pressing F10 then select hardware monitor setup and enable the reset case open status.
4. For maximum security be sure to establish a setup password.

Have fun!
