Question about HP PSC 2110 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Ink Cartridge Alignment

My HP PSC 2110 All-In-One needed a new black ink cartridge. I put in the right one, and printed the alignment sheets and all. When I face the alignment sheet face down on the scan glass and press "Enter", the "Aligning...Please Wait..." NEVER disappears. I have pressed "Start Scan" instead of "Enter" or turned off the printer and restarted it. I have tried almost 6 times and still it refuses to print any of my documents. What should I do?

printer was making a loud noise when it started printing or during printer alignment; now it prints the instruction sheet, but it won't print the page to be scanned.

When I try to print a test page it just sits there and does nothing.

1 Answer

On alignment sheet, do you see a line of yellow blocks?
And on next line do you see alternate block and yellow blocks?

(Without these, alignment fails)

If not, change the colour cartridge, re-print the page and repeat alignment.

Good luck...

Print cartridge will not align

This could be an issue from remanufacturing. Try a new cartridge from HP.

Many manufacturers have hardware in the cartridge and the printer that tell the printer "new cartridge". When a cartridge is refilled, you can have that giving a "bad" message.

I wish that I could be of more help.

Does the machine ask you to "align" the print cartridges when you turn the machine back on? If the alignment page when finished printing is missing a key color (say yellow), then the alignment will not succeed.
