Question about Sony XPLOD CDX-GT200 CD Player

1 Answer

Trying to install Sony MEX-BT2600. All functions work but no sound.

Just purchased and connected a new Sony MEX-bt2600. All functions have power and seem to work properly but there is no sound. There is no sound for the CD, radio, iPod or aux. I have the Metra 70-7004 harness kit and match all wires but the orange and blue. (no power ant). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have mex bt2600 sony xplode car cd player ::: also have sony xplode amp model no.xm 754sx problem is i want to hook up a subwoofer and the amp to the head unit (also currently have 2 sony xplode 3ways...

If the Sony front end unit (stereo) has RCA jacks (Left and Right) in the back it's an input to the Xplode amp. If that's right then the Subwoofer putputs should plug or wire into the Xplode amp. I haven't hooked these up for some time but try a search on Youtube with the units you describe I'm more than 90% sure that there are videos there.

it sounds like you have an externally amplified system and the amplifier remote switching wire is connected to the electric aerial output which is a blue wire and it should be connected to the amp remote wire which is a blue with a white trace
