SOURCE: The fuel lines pulled out of my 1978 GS550 when I

You will have two lines coming from the petcock on the bottom of the gas tank. the small one goes to the front of the number one carb, and the larger one plugs onto the fuel rail in the middle of the 4 carbs on the back. The lines that run between the 1 and 2 carbs and the 3and 4 carbs are just overflow lines, so they don't hook on anywhere else.

I have a 340 Air Injection Chainsaw. We made sure it has gas/oil and chain saw oil. We get it started but it won't stay on? What are we doing wrong.

If it has an air filter make sure it is clean, also check the gas filter in the gas tank,

sometimes it will get gummed up and will pass very little fuel, it can be pulled out

by making a hook on the end of any wired coat hanger or stiff wire, once you pull,

it out remove the fuel filter , put the fuel line back in, make sure it is submerged

in the fuel, if it keeps running, just replace the fuel filter, the gas tank will have

two lines going to it, normally only one has a filter, also make sure the lines are

intact and don't have any cracks or breaks. make sure your gas to oil ratio is

correct. most chains will have it written on the chainsaw, or check your user's

manual. 40:1 ratio on older models , on newer models 50:1 good luck!

Gas leaks out during use.

Mine is doing the same thing, I need to replace the gas cap on it. The other thing that you need to check is the fuel lines, the ethanol eats everything up.

Troybilt TB90BC fuel line schematic? I have replaced fuel lines that degraded with age and am uncerttain about the correct hook to tank, carburetor and primer. A diagram would help

easiest way to tell you is that the primer is there to pull the fuel through the carb. so fuel filter line goes from tank to carb, then from carb to primer and then back to tank as a return. if you forget which is the in line for the carb just hook with gas in a jar and try sucking it out of the jar. put filte rin a jar. and run line to carb , then line out of carb to primer and line back to jar as a return. if it pulls freely and fills the primer bulb your ready to go. if it pulls hard or not at all something is wrong.

What is the fuel line size for Troy Bilt TB525CS Trimmer?

Yes, something special to know. If the new fuel line is going into the gas tank, be sure to cut a steep angle on the end of the line going into the gas tank. This will allow enough of the line to get into the tank where you will be able to grab it thru the gas fill opening with needle nose pliers and pull it thru.

My troy-bilt TB425CS gas string trimmer gas lines have gone away. In replacing those lines how far into the tank do they go?

far enough so that you can reach through filler cap and pull the line out to attatch fuel filter.
then you can pull it back in and let it rest on the bottom of the tank

Cant figure out where fuel lines go on mccullogh chain saw

Fuel lines: one comes from the tank...has a filter in side the tank...runs up to the intake of the carb... you can tell by hooking up the lines to the carb, and put one into a gas supply... press the prime bulb... if it pulls gas, thats the one to hook into the tank...if not it 's the other... there should only be two lines a fuel supply and a return pressure line. Clean the air filter while you've got it apart....

Poulan Weedeater sst25 25cc engine fuel line

ok If you have a Walbro WT series carb "without" a built on primer bulb here it is. First off if the fuel lines disintegrated you MUST disassemble it and clean it out. The MOST infintesimle speck of gas line trapped, can allow good prime and bad operation. OK? Don't be lazy on this. Just be delicate removing the flaps gasket and diaphram. ZAMA GND-12 Is the replacement Gasket and diaphram kit fot that carb. Use a cleaner, compressed air or blow good thru it. OK Now...Primer bulb, Carb, and Fuel tank, re connects: Smaller Diameter line comes from Gas tank (Connect filter screen to this in tank) to the short Straight brass carb connector. Primer bulb suction goes to the bent carb brass connector. If small line brings fuel "in" this other line sucks it back "Thru the primer bulb" and the blow side of the primer bulb sends it back to the fuel tank! So...Small Line brings fuel "TO/IN" carb thru short brass connect on carb. Other carb connect goes to bulb suction "IN", Then primer bulb "Pressure OUT" goes thru the larger tube "back to fuel tank". Trust me I know how frustrating a simple diagram is to find online fo this set up. And if you have a carb problem on top of the hook up uncertainty you got frustration. Not only was online help hard to find (Mfg...etc NFG at all!) My local repairshop in BBrook NJ could not tell me how!!! and thats no lie! Walbro has a "generic" carb diagram but no "hook up info" specifically. Poulan don't list it either. And these things routinly fall to pcs. all 3 of mine crumpled together on yr. 3 of use.
