Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer
This has absolutely nothing to do with setting. Anyone who tells you that has never actually experienced the problem. This video link will show you how to clean the printer if you think it's worth it. http://youtu.be/R1DIko0a1MA

Check your network configuration and the ip
addresses. Turn off your printer and your notebook then turn on the
printer first and then the notebook. Sometimes, this is caused by the
ip address that doesn't match in your machine and your printer.
You might, as well, try to check the printer properties and go to PORT and check what the ip address of the printer is and it has a check mark. Compare both ip on the properties and the actual ip of the printer.
Another option is to add port in the printer properties, this should resolve the issue. Thanks.

I eliminated everything except two new non HP majenta and cyan cartridges. I removed the cyan cartridge and replaced it with an empty magenta cartridge, giving me 2 magenta cartridsges and althought it didnt printy, it staretd to pick up the paper so paper feed was working. I knew then that the cyan cartridge was faulty and changed it. All works now

I would suggest you take the cartridge out and shake in back in forth for a bit. Then re-seat the cartridge then cycle the power. Just in case you haven't tried this already.

Open the front cover of the printer and take out all cartridges.( as i remember the red cartridge is the las one). Then look inside for a four small windows.take a ligther or gsm and light them to see if they are dirty. If the last one has alot of durt on it thats mean the printer needs cleaning. If the window is clear(100% clear)you have problems with your HVPS or if you are using refilled cartridges the toner inside them could be bad. Please replay asap!

Hi, This is the problem of printer settings. So reset printer from printer properties in control panel. clean the toner drum and the cartridge properly, then reinstall the cartridge. make sure that the toner of cartridges are not bad and not get damp. check the fuser also.
