How to instal a magnaflow universal muffler on 2001 aztec

The only squared thing on the pump is the "plastic"
fluid tank... Everything else about the design & function
is "circular".

There is ABSOLUTELY circular "MOTION" inside the PUMP...
PLEASE NOTE... there is a giant pulley on the front..
and the design of the pump is all about rotational force of the hydraulic pump (right THROUGH the middle).

High pressure to the high pressure...
(with a possible cooler option in the middle)
Low pressure back to the reservoir

Magnaflow is better made and lasts longer, but both brands are good choices.

for exhaust, if you want stock looking then get a prelude muffler and have a shop make the piping the same size as the prelude exhaust (which is 2.25 i think?)
if you want sleeper exhausts then
get two 2-1/2" dynomax race bullets $27.95 ea. from summit. and a Magnaflow street muffler in your style of choice. $120?? get 1 race bullet welded in just behind the cat or header and the other back before the first 90 degree bend and the muffler welded on.

This is the best way to make a super sleeper. Magnaflow's are super quiet.

Race bullets act as resonators. they are only available in 2.5" in/out but thats ok.

Usually you can get an universal muffler, around $20 or so. You can install it with a muffler clamp to hold it on to the existing exhaust pipe instead of welding it.

Should be installed on the return hose from the heater core midway between firewall and radiator.

no muffler, those blow. get a magnaflow exhaust system with racing headers. mufflers do nothing but sound ghetto.

i had that same problem and found massive power loss....
turns out my catylatic converter was plugged, i put a flowmaster muffler and a magnaflow high flow universal cat on it and now it hauls *** so hard i did blow my transmission in the mud-pit... also this is NOT a good mud-pit vehicle.
