Question about John Deere Muffler 1010 Diesel Tractors

1 Answer

I have a 1982 John Deere 310A backhoe. The hydraulic fluid level was at the lower level (with the engine not running). After adding some fluid, the hydraulics slowed considerably & the pretty much stopped working. The bucket will move & tilt slowly, so the pump may still be working. There appear to be no busted or leaking hoses.

There are several places for checking and adding fluid. What seems low, the bucket hydraulics, or the drive hydraulics (ie: tranaxle)

I have a John deere 2651. I tested the main pump but continue to have the same problem. When the lift is raised I struggle to turn the steering. Al filters was also chnaged. Where does this pressure relief...

is the hydraulic fluid level correct ??? sounds like you're running out of hydraulic fluid. because if your trying to turn as your raising the lift then i could see a problem but if it's lifted and you're having an issue then fluid comes to mind first

Radiator water in oil of my John Deere 310A backhoe. What steps do I take to repair.

You have either a blown head gasket, cracked block or craacked head. Major work ahead. Hopefully, the water didn't mess up your main bearings.

Three point hitch on 2020 Jogn Deere Tractor will not raise.

The three point hitch raises with hydraulic pressure. When the hitch will not raise the first thing to check is the hydraulic fluid level. If it is low add hydraulic fluid to the proper level as stated in the owner manual.
