If you are referring to the white box module cover, just grab it with your hands and pull it off.

CAUTION: Do not pull the face plate all the way off yet. There is a plastic catch on the far left inside of the face plate that helps secure the face plate in place. 5. Use the blue-green handle to lower the pick assembly.
Reattaching the face plate of the ADF Follow the steps below to reattach the face plate to the front of the automatic document feeder.
  1. Hook the face plate onto the left side of the HP all-in-one so that the plastic catch on the far left inside of the face plate catches on the notch on the front of the automatic document feeder. Where do you oil this machine -- it's not in the owner's manual.

Welcome to FixYa! on the list below is the steps to oil your sewing machine.

  1. Remove the screw from the top of the Janome face plate with a small flathead screwdriver. The face plate is on the top of the sewing machine directly above the needle.

  2. Pull the face plate up and away from the sewing machine gently.

  3. Face the sewing machine as if you were about to start sewing.

  4. Locate a small cylinder attached to the side of the sewing machine facing you that had been covered by the face plate. Apply one or two drops of oil to the top of this cylinder.

  5. Locate a small square that is directly above the needle of the machine, also previous hidden by the face plate. Apply one or two drops of oil directly above and below this square.

  6. Replace the face plate and tighten the screw.

  7. Open the hook cover of the sewing machine as if you were changing the bobbin. This area is located directly under the needle.

  8. Remove the bobbin case by grasping the lever on the case and gently pulling the case out from the machine.

  9. Remove the hook ring and the hook. These two parts are behind the bobbin case and should come out easily.

  10. Apply one drop of oil to the center of the hole the bobbin was removed from.

  11. Replace all of the parts you removed from the sewing machine.

Good luck

How do I connect the wiring to my igniter switch on a patio 2 Tec grill?

Hi, You will need to remove the front face plate. There are 4 phillips head screws holding the face plate on - one in each corner. Remove the screws wth a #2 phillps head screw driver. Once the face plate is removed you will have access to the orange pilot assembly wire. Simple plug the orange wire into the igniter on the face plate. Bolt the face plate back in place.

With your gas supply off - turn your rotary ignter and make sure there is a spark present at the pilot assembly.

Just installed an XDM7615 Dual stereo and the face plate won't detach. Can anyone help? The manual says there is a button behind the face when it's in the 'eject' position but pushing this button does...

There are 2 very small screws on the back of the face plate that need to be removed. Once these are removed, you may then remove the face plate.

Remove Intermatic 60 min. wall timer face plate only from wall

That knob should just pull straight off. Check to make sure there isn't a tiny set screw on the side, but otherwise you can pull it off and remove the cover plate.

1998 beetle radio buttons

The face plate buttons actually activate small buttons on a printed circuit board behind the face plate. When I removed the radio and then the face plate many small pieces of plastic fell from behind the face plate. These small plastic pieces align the face plate button to the printed circuit board buttons. My Beeetle is almost 10 1/2 years old so I imagine the plastic is just becoming brittle with age. I could not set the radio to FM, so I removed the face plate button and now slide a toothpick in the slot to toggle between FM1 & FM2. Not he best solution, but probably the most inexpensive one. I also made my on tool to remove the radio from a diagram found at: http://www.alientech.net/nbinfo/stereo.html

How to remove face plate

All i did was slip a knife blade between the silver part and where the face plate meets it. It simply pops out after aplying some upward pressure. There are a few places where the face plate has to be popped before the entire thing is free
