Question about Panasonic KX-TG2257 Cordless Phone

We are away from our principal home. My wife called to access phone messages and inadvertently must have turned the answering system off. Is there a way to remotely turn the answering system ON? Thank you

Turning on the answering system

Call your unit and wait for 15 rings.

•The unit will answer and the greeting message will be played.

•The answering system will turn on. Hang up or enter the remote code for other

options.

•When turning on the answering system using a rotary or pulse service telephone,

you cannot enter the remote code for other options.

Call your Number let the machine answer and press the star button on the phone you are calling from. That should then let you press in your pin and access your messages on the machine.
