Could be, or it could be you don't have enough pressure in your system to show that you have flow. If you have a bypass valve, be sure it is closed so that the full flow is flowing through your heater. Make sure your skimmer baskets, and pump baskets are not restricted. Make sure your filter back pressure isn't too high(does it need to be backflushed?) You can go to www.jandy.com to download a manual

Oil light comes on when car idles

The light means the oil pressure has dropped below 10psi.
You could replace the oil pressure switch and see if the light stays off, or have the pressure checked with a mechanical gauge.
Make sure the engine oil level is full.

Its showing F 05 and all lights are flashing its a hotpoint model wmf740k

Hi,

The error that you get means that the pressure switch is jammed on full capacity. Please try using with less loads and sees if it repeats. If the message still remains ten try replacing the pressure switch.

You can sometimes test them by blowing into the part where the pressure tube goes, but only blow gently. You should hear it click when you blow into it.

Please isolate the machine first and the switch will need removing from the machine.

Thanks,

What is proper fix for fault code p 1782

P1782 - P/ES Circuit Out Of Self Test Range.
Means that 2-4 pressure switch sense circuit failure. It basically means that the transmission solenoid pack needs to be replaced.

The pressure 2/4-OD Pressure Switch is part of the pressure switch of the transmission. The pressure switch are located in the solenoid assembly. The switch provide input information to the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The switch will inform to the TCM is pressure exist in a specified hydraulic circuit. the TCM uses this information to verified that the solenoids are working or not.

Symptoms:
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Transmission shift shock

Possible Causes:
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty 2/4-OD Pressure Switch
- 2/4-OD Pressure switch poor electrical connection
- 2/4-OD Pressure switch circuit is open or shorted

Hope helps.

My furnace will not light. What does it mean when the red light on the circut board flashes 3 times?

Hello, a 3 flash on a circuit board means that a pressure switch is open, this could be due to a blockage in the flue pipe or the small tubing that goes from the inducer to the pressure switch is loose, leaking, or is blocked. You can try taking the tubing out and checking if there is anything in it blocking the pressure between the pressure switch and inducer motor and then attaching back on and make sure it's secure and tight. If that does not work that the switch itself is bad and must be replaced.

My brake light is not working when i apply rear brake. works fine with front brake.

If your rear brake light is not working but the front is, this means the pressure switch for the rear brake light is bad. Find the rear brake master cylinder and follow the metal line out of the master cylinder as it goes back towards the rear wheel. In the line, you'll find a "tee" fitting with a pressure switch screwed into it. Make sure all the wires are on the switch. If so, the switch itself may be bad. Replace the switch.

Good Luck

My Chrysler Voyager , not sure what model,I think 1994, keeps showing the oil light on the panel. The alarm sounds when the car is idiling, and as soon as the car goes, the light dissappears, we have...

Have you checked the engine dipstick to ensure that the oil level is correct? A very low oil level will cause the light to come on and cause overheating because the oil assists in keeping the engine cool. Top up oil if necessary. If oil level is OK, then it is possible that the warning light pressure switch which is screwed into the engine oil pressure system is faulty and setting off light and needs replacing. There could even be oil leaking out of the switch. The switch is usually located near the oil filter and will have a wire connected to it.
If after replacing switch and light still comes on, check to make sure wire is not making contact with the engine because of chafed or cracked insulation. If the oil constantly needs topping up you either have a bad leak or the piston rings are worn and not operating correctly. If the leak is bad, then there will be oil puddles under the engine after it has been stopped for a while. If it is a ring problem then there will be grey oil smoke out of the exhaust while driving.
Worst case is that it could also mean badly worn engine bearings. It is unlikely to be the oil pump as these hardly ever fail.

you may have a bad oil filter, the best check is to install an oilpressure guage to find out what the actual pressure is, or maybe you put in too light an an oil,
