Where are fuses located and how to tell if one is blown

Fuses are usually inside on the circuit board. A blown fuse is usually burnt, so it will be visible. If you are not sure, you can remove it at hold it up to a light. You should see a small wire inside the fuse. If it is blown, you will see a break in the wire. Keep in mind, a blown fuse indicates something is wrong. If it blows again, have it tested by a electronic technician.

Lost all power in 1991 RCA TV model F35100ST

Best thing to start here is open up the TV and look for any blown components on the power board (which is the one that has the power cable attached to); check the transformer for continuity first, that is the first thing to blow. Then go on with capacitors, resisters, and any burnt wires.

All of these parts are easy to find and replace, they can be found in local electronics shops.

Please post back how it went and any further information or questions you may have, so we can help you better.

Good luck!

RCA D52W20 52 Fuse problem

Well you could always use a bigger fuse but I would not advise to do it, it could and most likely will blow tv not fuse. Fuses ussually blow from a short or power surge. If it is new or under warranty I would return it for replacement or repair.
