Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
Press the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds with a sharp object (an unbent clip for instance) to reset the modem to factory settings. This will remove the router password and any protection settings. For detailed instructions with images, check this FAQ: Resetting the Linksys Router to Factory Default to remove .
Next, open a web browser window on the connected computer and type http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar and press enter.
A window will pop up prompting you for a username and password to access the configuration page for your router. Enter admin for both the username and password. enter the new settings.
Check this FAQ: Accessing the Router's Web-Based Setup Page and the other mentioned at the itsend.
