Thet are Metric screw M5 or M6 about 35cents at HD, Lowe's, ACE. The length can be figured out by using a small stick to find out how deep the holes are.

SOURCE: I have no picture but
Power on the unit in the dark room then aim a bright flashlight directly to the screen, you will barely see the images. This is because your backlight is not functioning. The following reason is the caused.
1. Power supply - missing B+(supply voltage) coming from this board feeding the inverter board. This is caused by faulty transistor, dried/leaky electrolytic capacitor, open fusible resistor.
2. Inverter board - even the B+ is good from the power supply, if the fuse, driver transistor, driver transformer is faulty no output to the backlight resulting to black picture.
3. Busted backlight - even inverter board is good but if this is busted resulting to black picture also.
Diagnosing the fault is technical and if you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't fix it yourself, I would advice you to look for an experienced technician to isolate the problem.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

Hopefully you did not try to take the circuit board from the broken LCD and graft it onto the good one - the possibilities for problems are enormous.
Double-check all of the connectors, then compare the model numbers of the main board and power supply between the two sets. The cable between the LCD and the main board is often rather fussy and delicate - DO NOT pull on the wires! You may have to swap cables also. If the main board is different, try the one that went with the good panel (from the VO240E), and hope that part is good.
Note: electronics are susceptible to damage from static electricity. Handle the circuit boards only by the edges, and try to maintain contact with the metal shielding parts as much as possible (an anti-static wrist strap is a good means) while working on the set to discharge any static buildup on yourself.Once you are done, there is an e-Bay market for the remaining parts. If you have identified the bad board from the VO420E (by elimination), you can get more for the others, and you may still be able to sell the bad one to a reconditioning company, who will repair it and resell it.
The worst case situation is that the LCD panel driver board is bad, but as I understand your situation, the VO240E wouldn't turn on anymore. That is usually a power supply problem.
