If it is running, chances are one of the thermostats are gone. You have two on the heater bank, a high level and a safety, have them both changed.

Check your fuse or circuit breaker box first. Look for 2-30 amp fuses in the fuse box and replace both fuses if using a fuse box. Look for a double pole 30 amp circuit breaker if using a breaker box, and flip the breaker to OFF then back to ON.

If nothing helps get back with me and we can delve deeper into the issue.

LG Electric Dryer (DLE0332W) change all thermostats, HEATING ELEMENT, THERMISTOR, MOISTER SENSORS, HOUSE CIRCUIT BREAKER BUT STILL WONT HEAT AT ALL

Hi hamptonmd,

If you have replaced all those parts, and it is still not heating, the problem is most likely the Main PC Board (Comes in 2 parts, front electronic and back electronic)

To test if this is the problem, activate the T/D and test if power is going to the element in cycle, use an advanced current protective multimeter to do this. If no power goes to the element at all, then the PC board is not providing power to it, thus it is faulty.

Hope this helps :-)

If you found this solution helpful, please rate it accordingly :-)

DLE0332W--dryer continually runs like its in wrinkle free mode. Will not complete regular dry cycle.

You may have an issue with the control board and it will not shut down once the cycle has been completed. You will need a qualified LG technician to diagnose the problem.
Good luck

Yes, the motor is bad.
Replacing the motor is a bit involved, but if you want to attempt it I can walk you through it.
There should be a 5 YEARS warranty on the motor, so you might consider a repairman. Make sure they are LG certified and there will be no cost to you for the motor. The labor, however, may be up to you and could be expensive.

I'm willing to assist you on whatever you decide. The motor itself should be under $100.

Hello alloyd1455,
Please find a link for the service manual for your dryer and note page 26 and up discusses how to open up and gain access to the inside compartment.
Hope this helps

LG Front loader Electric Dryer want heat but will run and spin

If your dryer doesn't heat, check these:

Power from the house
Heating element
Thermal fuse
Wiring
Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers--your dryer uses two fuses or circuit breakers. The dryer could tumble but not heat if only one of the two fuses is blown. If you have circuit breakers, one of the two circuit breakers can trip, even if the two for the dryer are connected.

Heating element Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable.

Thermal fuse On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)

Wiring A common problem is for the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, to burn and break its connection. Because the dryer can still tumble with partial power, the connection may be only partially defective. You may need to replace both the power cord to the dryer and the terminal block inside the dryer that the wire is attached to.
