Hello

You will be needing a scratch be gone kit.

Assess the damage. Determine if this is a deep scratch or a surface scratch, by running your finger across it. If you can actually feel the indentation, you have a deep scratch, gouge or ding. With clamps, carefully hold a small piece of dry ice over the gouged area. Hopefully,it will pop out, and not be as noticeable. Then you can treat it in the same way other scratched areas are treated in the steps below.

Use an abrasive pad from the Scratch-B-Gone kit to repair scuffs, light scratches and even deep scratches. The kit has 4 different abrasive pads and instructions to tell you which one to use depending on the severity of the scratches and scuffs. Otherwise, go to an automotive shop and buy different fine grades of sandpaper.

Apply a small amount of Ultra Shine from the Scratch-B-Gone kit onto the appropriate abrasive pad. Or use an automotive rubbing compound on the sandpaper.

Begin rubbing the damaged area of the satin in the direction of the grain covering over about a 5-inch area at a time. Slide the pad backward and forward increasing pressure as needed until you see the scratch is disappearing.

Repeat this process until the scratch is removed and the surface is restored. For a deeper scratch, dry rub the area with the coarse pad, and wipe area off with a microfiber cloth to make sure the scratch is gone.

Blend the metal surfaces by using the finest grade sandpaper or abrasive pad with the rubbing compound or Ultra Shine and gradually increase the area around the original damage to about three times the original scratched area. Be sure to go with the existing grain of the material so you don't create crosshatching.

This answer quotes part of a tutorial found elsewhere online about how to remove scratches from stainless steel. Unfortunately it leaves out the part which advises AGAINST using Scratch-B-Gone on synthetic coatings which are not stainless steel, like the Ultra Satin finish on the OP's fridge. I hope artalv hasn't already tried this and made it worse!

On my Kenmore Elite #106.56683501 the refrigerator door is loose

Depending on the model, and the color, here's your fix.

Stainless with stainless handles- you'll need a hex key. The tiny hole is on the inside of the handle, close to the center. Turn the key until it's tightened.

Stainless with black handle/white/bisque/black- push the door handle up. Careful not to scratch the finish! once the handle pops, pull it straight off. Take a phillips head screw driver, tighten the top screw A LITTLE BIT and then attach again. Insert screws on the door into the holes on the handle, slide down. (will need to be a little tough with it.)
Good luck!

Zap damage to stainless steel

You should try a citrus based stainless steel cleaning agent, this should take off the stain. Otherwise you can do a test on a concealed spot, stain it with Zap and then lightly brush over in straight lines with medium sandpaper in same direction as original. But try it on a concealed area first.

Discolorations/stains on stainless steel refrigerator surface

Tried lots of suggestions to no avail. Tried a USED, dried out Scotch Brite Cook Top pad on the scrubber handle with Heavy Duty Fantastick sprayed on the pad. Scrubbed the drip marks at the bottom and wiped away to see if it was "scratching" or marri8ng the finish. Nope, but IT WAS taking the water marks off. So I did a bit more and checked again. Working great with no problems for the finish. Cleaned the whole watermark area. Rinsed of with wet cloth. Let it dry and then used my usual stainless cleaner, buffed to shine and walked away to post this. :> My refrig is an Aman too but I read other problem sites and it is common with stainless steel refrigs

Stainless steel finish on Liebherr fridge

if you have scratched or damaged the surface, you can get a stainless steel foil product to cover your refrigerator from www.applianceart.com. If its not that bad, make sure you are using a stainless steel cleaner after you have washed it with a regular cleaner.
