I could, but not in the "free" forum. You need access to both the TDA and the TVA systems. Once you get there, start reading the manuals. You need to assign a destination for Day/Night/Lunch/Break, a VM identity, then establish and record custom service menus or greetings for same.

If you go to the person who initially programmed the system, they should be able to guide you/do it.

How to set an answer phone message

The fun of the FixYa guessing game is questions like yours. What is an "answer phone"?. Panasonic systems, notably the TA-824, can have FIVE different ways to answer a phone.
Which one is yours? There's DISA, which answer a call and responds to dialed digits, BV, the built-in voice mail system, Central Office based voice mail with signalling, a TVA/TVS external Panasonic voice mail product that's programmed by dialing 107 or 115 on the TA system, or finally, just a plain old answering machine on the phone or a port of the system.

The capacity of the messages is full but there is a lot of storage space.i cannot send any messages.what should i do??my cell is a W388

Hi,
In Motorola, you have to change the storage as memory card in the settings. A part of the phone memory will be allocated for SMS, and when it reaches that limit, you will get message that your memory is full. So first go to the settings and change the sms storage to the memory card.

Trying to change the message on the lunch mode on a panasonic kx-t7630

You can mess around in the Message Manager's mailbox and search for the custom greeting that contains the Lunch menu, but your Voice Mail installer should have left you specific instructions on how to change all greetings and custom service messages. As a minimum, you might give them a call and ask for a refresher in where those recordings reside in your voice mail system.

The Voice Mail be it a TVA or TVS, has a console program and password that will let you log into it and see where everything is located. The dealer should have provided instructions and passwords for administering the system.

I am trying to set up speed dials on a samsung dcs-12b but keep getting a message saying no speed block and can't get any further

To assign a speed dial block you have to be in customer programming and go to MMC 606, once in type in either system-wide or individual extension number, please be aware that extensions can only have 5 blocks of 10 (50) speed dials, whereas the system can have 200+ depending on the size of the phone system. just to confirm 1=10. I have posted you a video explaining how to program the speed dial which is available to view on YouTube along with many others relating to the Samsung phone system. Alternatively you could visit www.abbeytelecom.com.

How do i set up speed dial on my KX-TG9391C

The speed dials are set in the contacts or the names directory. Open the directory and scroll down so that you see the options available to modify the names list. In this sub list you will find the speed dial. select this menu and open to see the locations 2-9. Since no 1 is assigned for voice mailbox you can assign the rest from 2 to 9 by select the destination and assigning with the selected name. Even for the no 1 voice mail box you can assign a name but must select it from the settings menu in the messages window, Now try to press and hold the set numbers to confirm that you speed dial works fine, Hope you try this out. Good day

Need setup help for ep5962

first set day and time... menu, mailboxes, set day/time, scroll to day, set, select, ok... then scroll to current time, set, dial pad four digits, 2 for am or 7 for pm, select save. now power on line 1 or 2 or both. phone is preprogrammed with 'hello, please leave a message after the tone.' to record your own use menu, mailboxes, select setup 1 or 2, then review/chng oga, then record new oga, then ok. record when screen changes, choose stop when you're done. shortcut: press and hold record, press and release mailbox line x, release when finished. you only record one line at a time, so you can have different messages on each line. even if it's the same, you must record each line. since you can only record one message the shortcut would be useful for an 'out to lunch, be back about 1-30' sort of message. then re-record a standard message when you get back from lunch. 'course, you really don't need an 'out to lunch' message, since people are accustomed to answering machines at any time of day. all the caller needs to know is that 'i can't get to the phone right now.' and they appreciate it when you keep it short.

Reverse order of voicemail playback (oldest first

On a Panasonic voice mail system, it's a Class of Service option. You, or your dealer, will need to create another class of service with the Message retrieval set to FIFO and assign your extension to it.

Depending on your actual VM system, you may be able to modify it by phone, but it's better and easier to do it from a computer where you can compare the parameters of both classes of service.

Night switching for KX-T7630

You have 4 different modes of calling available to be programmed: DAY NIGHT BREAK and LUNCH. Your installer has to set up the ICD groups, but you can create a LUNCH group which looks like the day mode but rings all phones. The codes are accessed by dialing on the intercom *780x where 0 is day 1 is night 2 is lunch and 3 is break.

You may use the NIGHT mode in the daytime, but if you have voice mail, it will play the night greeting instead of a day greeting.

Text Message Problem

There is a message center number which is assigned automatically by your service provider. You may have accidently deleted or modified the number. Unless the message center is correct, you may not be able to send any messages. Now, what you need to do is contact your service provider and get this number. Cheers
