Question about Garmin StreetPilot c550 GPS Receiver
When placing a call the receiver can hear me but I cannot hear the person I called. Is this sound suppose to come from the unit itself or do I need a earpiec for it?
The unit does not need an earpiece. Make sure that you do not have anything plugged into the audio out port on the back of the unit. Also make sure that the volume is turned up. If you hear the normal navigation instructions from the 550 then the volume is OK.
If all else fails, then reset both the 550 and your phone. To reset the 550, use your thumbnail to pry the face plate off. There is a small indentation on the upper side of the face plate where it meets the screen. Once the face plate is removed, depress the reset switch on the front right side of the unit.
