Question about Arrow T50P ARROW STAPLE GUN

1 Answer

My T50P will not discharge staples. I'm using the correct staples, there is no jam that I can see, and everything is well-lubed. It seems like the driver is not retracting far enough to allow a staple to enter the firing chamber. Is this a common problem?

The info on the gun says it will shoot many different staples, but it will only take 3/8 staples and I need to use 1/2 staples to do the job.

The T50P stapler uses T50 staples of various lengths, including 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2. Is it possible that the 1/2 inch staples you are trying to use are not T50? All T50 staples are the same width and should fit your stapler. There are several other widths of staples that are not T50, although T50 is the most common.

Do I need to adjust the T50P to use short staples (like 6 mm). It is not working at all. The staples just pop off the surface. The 12mm are just barely going in to a wood chair frame I am working on.

You MAY need to lube the stapler. Use ONLY staples labelled for use in this stapler. Also check if there might be a smashed staple blocking the driver from doing a full stroke.

Stapler is jambed

a staple is probably jammed in between the housing and the ram look at the bottom front where the staples are ejected you may need a small screwdriver to reach up inside and loosen the staple from the ram ... a little WD-40 may help also ... dont forget to rate me thx:)

How to remove jammed staples in staple gun?

Take out the small bolt that is secured with a nut at the back of the gun (at the end where you feed the staples) -- then drop the inset. Now you have access to the jammed area. Clear out jammed staples and put the stapler back together. Easiest way is to hold the nut and turn the bolt from the other side.

My T50M Staple strips break up in the gun and jam after 4-5 staples. This happens with old staples (10+ years) and with new staples that were purchased two days ago. Out of frustration I purchased a new...

The staples are held together with an epoxy. I have used staples that are older than 10 years. The problem is the gun. Check for dirt or a burk in the magazine as well as a bent pusher blade. My gun also had a problem loosing a screw and nut that attached at the blade guide.

Hi can't seem to reload stapler

All you do is open the end peice and slide the staples in on the two rails, point down. You should be able to see in the end to make sure nothing is blocking the rail with a flashlight. You probably have the wrong size staples. You can only use # 214, 215, 276.
