Question about Kodak EasyShare DX4530 Digital Camera
8MB or 8GB? If it's actually an 8MB card, you'll be able to put maybe two or three pictures on it, so I'll assume it's an 8GB card.
The DX4530 is designed to work with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD devices, there are electronic difference that prevent them from working there. SD cards will work in SDHC devices but not the other way around.
You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Testimonial: "You are correct k_akima, I my new card is a SDHC 8GB and will not work. I did not know there were different kinds of cards. Thanks!"
Thanks to k_akima I got the same issue. I need to return the 8GB SDHC card to the store. Thank you again
