No, no reset button. The magnetron - the device in your oven that generates the heat - is either defective or not powered. To check it you must open the oven and check the voltage at the magnetron.
The voltage is in excess of 5000 volts and you need a very special voltmeter for checking it. Using a regular multimeter or not knowing how to do it safely but still doing it is a absolutely sure way to die - don't do it.
Either take it to a repair shop or get another, do not attempt to fix it yourself, your life is worth more than a few hundred bucks.

I have a kenmore microwave toaster. Microwave no heat. table rotates OK and toaster works OK. What is most likely problem, HV diode, capacitor or magnetron?

Could be any of those 3 parts since they work together to make the microwave part work. Most common problem if under 5 years old would be the diode, then capacitor, then mag, but I have replaced mags on new microwave in some cases. Like I said they work together. Capacitors will sometimes swell up at the top or bottom but again not always.. This isn't much help but you need a multimeter and must know some test procedures on this one.

Kenmore 1000w Not Heating Food Items

If it sounds like it is running and it lights up it is not the fuse. In my 24 years of service work I've found that the problem you are describing is cause by the failure of the magnitron ( The device that emits the microwave radiation). As your unit is a built in expensive unit I would look into replacing the magnitron. In cheap microwaves I just suggest replacement. If you need further assistance locating a replacement magnitron feel free to cotact me. It is a relatively easy part to replace. You just open the case and unplug it, unscrew it from the unit, and replace it with the new one. In most cases all you need is a philips head screwdriver and some patience. Anyway, I hope this helps you out in your decicion.

Microwave only stay on for 1.5 minutes at 100% power

Take it back you still have warranty, the problem is the magnetron, or the inverter board, and possibly the keypad control board.

The microwave runs and sounds normal, but it does not heat up the food. (We did run it at 100% power a few times, with no heat up) Do you have any suggestions to what the problem could be? We purchased...

Sorry to read about your problem.
It seems your have a general failure in the power control or switch failure on the unit. you said your unit has power, and things lite. Then it is more likely you have a control/switch problem,

Microwaves must be serviced by technicians due to the inherent dangers involved in repairing these appliances. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even though the unit is completely unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any internal component repair

Kenmore microwave

Since it's under warranty, they will replace or repair it at their choice, and if they replace it, it will be the same model or a "like model".

I'd ask them about it.

Kenmore over the range Microwave

Generally, the most common causes of a failure to heat are:

- bad door switches or door switch mounts
- loose connection at the magnetron
- problem or loose connection on the control unit circuit board
- bad magnetron or other high voltage part

If you or a friend decide to look into it, we have critical safety information, info on door switch diagnosis and replacement, and disassembly information at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk
