Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
First of all shuts off the notebook and unplug the adapter and take out the battery and then press and hold the Power Button for 30 secs in order to drain out the excessive electrostatic charge from the Laptop's motherboard and reconnect the Battery and adapter and boot to the laptop to BIOS and set it to default settings and then reboot the Notebook into safe mode with networking and run a System Restore to a previous date(when notebook was working fine) and then again reboot the notebook in normal mode and then login to the page: http://us.acer.com/acer/service.do?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&miu10einu24.current.attN2B2F2EEF=3750&sp=page15e&ctx2.c2att1=25&miu10ekcond13.attN2B2F2EEF=3750&CountryISOCtxParam=US&ctx1g.c2att92=453&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=2054404012 and select the operating system and then download the BIOS and Graphics Driver Install it and restart it. if it doesn't resolve the issue then run the HDD test and Memory test and which will reveal whether this is os corruption or hardware failure.if test passed then reinstall the Operating system from Installation Disc and begin from scratch or if this is a hardware failure then need to contact the notebook manufacturer tech support for the Hardware Purchase and for Operating system disc purchase if they have not provided you.
