Samsung Galaxy S model SPH-D700 won't turn on, how can I fix this?

To reset the phone, it should be without power at all. So removing the battery, when the charger is connected, will not reset the phone. Then when the battery is dead, it could show up as if it is charged, because the voltage on the voltage sensor can become high enough, to indicate the battery is charged.
First, disconnect the charger, and remove the battery. Wait a few seconds and reinsert the battery. Try switching the phone on. If nothing happens, the most likely thing is you have a bad battery.
I hope there is no other issue.
Success.

How can I get my Samsung Galaxy Tablet to turn on. The battery is fully charged.

There is usually a method such as holding the on button for a longer period of time. If it is easy to do the other thing that I've found with all sorts of "smart" devices which turn "not-so-smart" is to remove the battery for a minute or so, then put it back in. Many times the unit will turn on as soon as the battery is reinstalled and work correctly again after that. Last ditch effort, unless someone knows about the Galaxy, is a hard reset, there may be a reset button somewhere on the unit, I don't think the Galaxy has a reset button. If the unit still does not turn on it may need servicing.
1. Try the on button for 15 - 20 seconds if you know it is charged
2. Try charging for an hour or two then the 15-20 second hold on button, #1 above.
3. Removed battery (I'd measure the battery voltage while I have it out) wait ~1 - 2 minutes & reinstall the battery. If it doesn't turn on by itself try #1.
4. Nothing works start a service ticket with Samsung, URL:
http://support-us.samsung.com
You might try searching there as well for an answer to see if there's anything I missed.

How to fix a samsung galaxy s3 if it will not turn on but you can hear sound

If it makes a sound but nothing on the screen this suggests a fault with the screen. Try leaving it on charge for 3-4hours, if nothing changes try taking the battery out for 5-10 mins then put back in and try turning on as this will do a soft reset.

If this still doesnt work then you'll need to send the phone off to be checked by Samsung if it is still in warranty

What to do if my galaxy wont charge

At this level of charge their is not enough to start the boot process , if it doesn't charge at all their may be a fault with the Battery cell , however i had a similar issue, just leave it for a while, if their is still no indication that its charging or it wont turn on their could also be a problem with the Start Button

I have been trying to turn on my galaxy tab but it just wont turn on. I have tried charging it for a full day but still nothing. i dont even know if it is charging.

Most likely that it's faulty. Sometimes it takes awhile before it charges itself, specially it you drained. But if you left it plugged in for a day and still nothing happened then I think it's gone dead.

Try the following though and see if it helps.

1. Press and hold the power for about 10-15 seconds. or
2. Press and hold the power and the Volume up or Volume down at the same time for about 10-15 seconds.

If nothing happens then I suggest you send your tab for a repair.

Hope it helps.

Hi, i have a Samsung galaxy s from bell. yesterday one of my apps froze and made a weird vibrating pulse, so i went to my settings to try to delete the app but my settings froze as well and did the weird...

Try taking it back to Bell and see if they will give you a replacement. Doing a quick Google search, it appears that other people are having similar issues.

The screen has frozen in e mail and i cannot switch off or move to another function or do anything

If your Samsung GT-P1000 Galaxy TAB is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold [POWER ] for 8-10 seconds. The device will reboot automatically.
If this does not solve the problem, perform a factory data reset. In Menu
mode, select Settings ? Privacy ? Factory data reset ? Reset phone ? Erase everything
