If the drain time exceeds eight minutes, the water valves are turned off

and "F/02" is flashed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the

NOTE: After four minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then four
minutes later the "F/02" error code will be displayed
you may want to check your drain catch by removing lower front panel and unscrew cap on front of pump, you may have a restriction or not using HE soap, before you remove cap from front of drain pump, attatch shop vac to washer drain hose and remove all water or you will have a big mess, if none of this works you may have to replace pump

How do I empty the pump?

If you are attempting to clean the drain pump, the following link explains how:

To avoid the mess of any residual water that may still be in the drain pump and/or drain lines, use a wet/dry shop vac and pull a vacuum on the drain hose. If you do not own a shop vac, have some towels ready and place them around the drain pump clean out trap. Crack the trap cover open and allow the water to trickle out. Soak up the water with the towels.

If you have any questions about these procedures, please post back and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Drum seems to be out of balance. Last two load came out wet. Drum also hit the sides of the washer.

The loads I do with towels always end up with the display UE which is imbalance error, this happens with 1 towel as well as several towels. What can I do to resolve this imbalance?

We went to tumble dry towels but when going back to the machine the drum was full of water and the towels soaking wet! Now we can't get rid of the water in the drum. We even tried to run a program to drain...

If you can, lay the drain outlet hose down to floor level, and let the water run into a bucket or similar.
Then check the filter, which should be located at the bottom front right of washer behind drop down flap.
Remove and clean by unscrewing it anti-clockwise.
Hope this helps.

Kenmore HE3 front loader keeps getting F02 error message, most often when I wash towels. I was able to workaround by pulling half the load, but that no longer does the trick.

Long Drain

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and F02 is flashed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
• Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
• Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects
• If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

I have an error code of 5UD or SUD and the water is not draining

If you are getting an F2 error message or a SUD error message, and are observing some water in the tub that is not draining at end of cycle, and your washi cycle is taking a lot longer that normal to complete, then here is what to do.

This solution is easy, and will take no more that 15 minutes, from start to finish, and most of that time is in the --prep-- (getting tools, towels, etc.). This WILL save you a expensive service call.

There are 3 small 9/32 hex head screws that hold the front panel on. The front panel I'm speaking of is --below-- the washer window.
These screws can be found::

a. if you have the optional washer storage drawer unit,, they can be found by opening the drawer, and observing the 3 screws (left, middle, and right side, that hold the front panel on.
b. if you DONT have the optional drawer assembly, then they are found on the front, bottom, of the washer, again holding the front panel on the washer.

1. unscrew the 3 hex head screws (9/32 socket or nut driver size)
2. lower/remove the front panel, and set it asisde on some towels, so as not to scratch the front panel.
3. get something now to soak up at least a gallon of water that WILL empty onto the floor.
4. observe large WHITE drain cap, at front center of washer.
5. unscew white drain cap --WARNING-- lots of water WILL drain out when you loosen the white cap. Once all the water is out, remove and take out the filter trap.
6. clean out the front and bottom of the filter trap. I'm sure lint, and gosh knows what else have cloged some of the holes
7. wipe out the inside of the housing for the filter trap (observe lots of -gunk- there too).
8 put back in filter trap, tighten white cap, and put front panel on washer with same 9/32 screws you took off earlier.

Now I ran a test --express wash-- cycle, just to be sure all was OK,, and it was.

Washer not draining and rinsing

Hello Wet Towels, well to be honest outside of the test program I have never seen a fault code E13. If it was an error E03 I would check my water to make sure it was turned on, the cold inlet hose wasn't pinched, or debre filling the filter screens in the hose or water valve. That is what the care and use says about E03. In the back of your owners manual it tells you what the fault means and how to correct it. If this doesn't work call for service to resolve your issue. Hope this helps.

Kenmore Elite Front Load Washer...F02 and SUD not draining!!!!

Probably something caught in pump. Remove lower panel if this one has it and you will see the pump. Loosen the round cover in middle to access clean-out.
