Question about Zanussi FJS1225W Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Vibrition at high speed

My washing machine is running fine up until the spin cycle. at low speed it's fine but as soon as the high speed starts the washer vibrates violently
and loud bangs are heard. looking into the machine you can see the drum
shaking. I think there maybe some kind of bush that the front of the drum rotates on and this is what may be broken. This is only a guess, but if im right can a spare part be got and is it replacable. Any suggestions would
be appreciated. Peter Carter

GE GFWN1100LWW. Can the high speed spin work on the lower wash cycles?

From my experience, the lower wash cycles are set to only do certain things. For example: the Delicate won't do a high speed spin, even though a high speed spin wouldn't really be destructive to delicates, but would force more water out of them! I usually just run a "Drain/Spin" after the Delicate cycle.

LG Tromm washer wont spin through the spin cycle and reads error ue. I have tried to balance the load several times and still get the same error.

This error generally happens when people try to run a bulky load, like a coat, rug, pillow, etc., using a high speed spin. For these loads, choose the low speed spin. After the cycle completes, if you think the clothes are too wet, power up the machine again but instead of choosing a cycle, just push the spin speed button until it shows the next higher spin speed (usually about 14 minutes will show on the display) and push start. The machine will usually be able to get to a faster speed now, as the clothes have some of the water spun out of them from the earlier low speed spin, allowing the machine to reach a higher spin speed without the Unbalance Error code showing up. Of course, you want to make sure the machine is on a solid floor with all the legs adjusted properly also.

LE error after full cycle toward end of wash it comes up with an error. not sure if it LE or upside down F E? Anyone have this prob?

LE toward the end of cycle probably means you had a bulky load which you tried to spin out at the high spin speed setting. Use a low spin speed with bulky loads. For this load now, just put power on and without selecting a cycle, push the spin speed selector button until a low speed comes up (should be about a 14 minute display) then push start to do a pump and spin only cycle.

What does LEstand for on the washer machine??

LE stands for Load Error. You may have a bad hall sensor, but more likely have an off balance or very heavy load which you were trying to spin at a high speed. For heavy / bulky items, use the low spin speed. After the cycle, you can power the machine up again and just push the spin speed button until the next higher speed shows, then push start to get a 14 minute or so pump and spin only cycle if you want to spin the load out a bit more.

GE WHDRR418 top load washer won't spin at high speed; the washer does the complete cycle, and agitates in both directions and does physically spin, but it will not go into the 'high speed' spin that...

we can eliminate the motor and the switch since that part is working. sound like your timer might be faulty, timer make everything work in persistence cycles, if its goes bad sometime it tend to jump/skip cycles.

After a wash cycle, the letters UE appeared in the timer window..

UE = Unbalance error.
try to use a low spin speed with loads like rugs, and try to get as even a load as possible. (ie: not just one rug) Don't wash rubber backed rugs, as the backing can break up and clog your machine.

Now, if you are successful washing with the lowest spin speed, you can hold the " Spin Speed " button in while pressing on the power button. Release power button. Now release the spin speed button. Now, press the spin speed button until the next higher spin speed from your last successful spin. Press start. Your washer should now pump out and attempt to reach the new spin speed, without adding any water. (usually about a 14 minute pump and spin cycle) Don't expect to be able to spin out rugs at a high spin speed.

Whirlpool gold washing machine

It is either a timer issue or a motor issue. I know, that you knew. But if you have a motor with like circuitry and size, you can try that or to put it into the spin cycle and see if it is a mechanical obstruction or with a voltmeter see if the timer is working.
