Question about Maytag PYE2300AY Electric Dryer
Our Maytag dryer heats just fine on Auto Dry/Permanent Press. It will not dry at all on Time Dry, although the timer itself works.
Any suggestions? Thanks!!! Our dryer has served us faithfully for many, many years, and I hate to give it up!!!
Does sound like the timer, although the clock is moving, the contact for the heater element is burned out inside the timer, you probably have used this timed dry for your normal day to day use and worn out the contact, new timer required.
