Question about Microwave Ovens

The orange button that I push on the top to get it going is stuck. It will not go up or down!!!! It is stuck down. I had not used it for awhile but it had always worked perfectly. When I tried to chop some onions it stayed down and I had minced onion juice!!!!!

It would help to have the make and model of your unit, and then we could try to run down what needs to be done. In general, it sounds like the switch is either stuck or broken, and you will have to take the unit apart to find out. If you google the make and type support after it, you will get the manufacturer's support site, which may be able to supply parts.
This is all I can suggest for now, but will try to check back and see if you've added the make and model info.

How do i replace sharp microwave turntable coupling?

No need to remove turntable motor.
1. Just remove table
2. Pull and twist the coupling. It seams stuck but it will come out from the top.
3. Twist and push the new coupling down, line up with the motor shaft and push down further.

The oven (10+ years old GE True Temp double wall oven) beeps and displays an F7 error message. We can temporarily stop it by pushing the Clear button, but it starts again in a few seconds. We don't know...

I'm a GE tech, the F7 means there is either a stuck button on the keypad or relay on the board behind the keypad. Shut off the breaker. Remove the 3 screws under the keypad and lift the panel a bit to remove it. Lay it face down on the top rack and disconnect the ribbon cable. Turn power back on and if f7 goes away the problem is in the keypad. If f76 returns it's in the control. We typically replace both together because usually if you replace 1 it will come back later then be the other part.

I hav 2 buttons that hav signs on it at the top of my freezer i dont know what theyre for...if i push 1 of the buttons it lights up so i dont know if they should be on or off cause i dont know what theyr...

An orange button with a snowflake on it normally means 'fast freeze' and should only be used (lit up) if you have added a large item to the freezer and want it to freeze quickly. I assume the button marked 'super' means 'super fast freeze' but without knowing the make and model of your freezer it's difficult to be certain. If you can provide those details I will respond again.

The timer counts down but the microwave doesnt turn on.

I have a FNCB115GC Microwave problem. The microwave has a icon on the left hand side of the panel that looks like a opened book on a stand with lines on top. This is best that I can descibe it. The microwave turntable does not move or the microwave does to come on but the light comes on and the timer will count down. I have cleared the microwave and unplugged it with no results. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Where can I get a copy of a Breville Express Cooker (EXC15) manual? I had a cooker given to me but alas no "how to use" instructions.

Hi I have the same model - I absolutely love it. The only problem is that the seal is broken and because Breville no longer supply parts I'm using it more as a slow cooker!
It's pretty simple to use:
The basics:
1. Pull the handles apart (note you must have the 'pressure lock - the only sliding knob on the lid) in the 'unlocked position'.
2. Set the temperature on Max (only until the meat, onions etc are brown, then turn down to 1 or 2- just enough to keep the orange button 'popped' on the top of the machine
3. turn the timer (bottom dial on the front of the cooker) to an hour (you can always turn the dial more if needed, but not reduce time) by the time you've browned meat & chopped veges, etc that will be about 10-15 gone. I've never had it pressure 'cooking for more than an hour for anything'
3. re timing - casserole takes about 40 min from when the orange button on top 'pops' up (ie. steam build up enough pressure to cook quickly)
4. don't over fill - there's a little cast iron bump about an inch from the 'top' inside the cooker - that's about the max.
5. if you're cooking meat dishes have the dial on the top 'pressure release dial' on 3 - lighter dishes (e.g. soups) have on 1 or two.
6. until you get use to it keep an eye on the orange button - you get to know what temp to put it on by how much steam is released - it it's hissing away, turn the temperature down.
7. makes great casseroles, rissotto, soups (even with dried beans, only about 40 min)
if you ever find a supplier for seals, post an answer!

I went to use my mirowave & it is completely gone. I pushed every button that I could & nothing happens. What should I do

first check the breaker in the electrical panel. your microwave should be on a circuit with nothing else. Depending on when the house was constructed. If the breaker is tripped turn it off and back on. If the microwave is plugged into a gfic outlet check to see if the receptacle needs reset. There will be a reset button on the receptacle. Their may be a orange light on the receptacle.

Intermittant loud "pop" when starting my microwave

Clean well the inside of the oven, if you keep having the problem and the inside is clean, then the magnetron is starting to go.
