To start your picture resize or shrink, simply click the "Browse..." (or "Choose File" for Mac and Safari Users) button above under "Step 1". After you have chosen your file, you can simply click the box that shows one of our predefined widths and continue on. Or, you can click "More Options" to click a height instead of a width, or specify your own custom resized height and width.

If the picture you are resizing supports a quality setting (usually only JPG or JPEG images support quality changes), you can click a lower quality in order to lower the final file size (in bytes), or just leave it at 100%.
Finally, click the "click here to resize" button. After your image is resized, you can save it to your computer using the form on the next page

Hope this one will work.

Cant mail a pic from desktop by right clicking and selecting send mail as i get an error that it cant send

Most email providers will limit the size of the email to 10mb. Some go as large as 30mb.
If you right click the image and select properties what is the file size (remember 1mb is 1024kb)?
If the file size is fairly large try compressing the software using software like winzip or winrar. To see if it can shrink the file enough to be sent via email.
Another thing to note is some email providers also do not allow certain file formats to be mailed as well. Most will allow you to mail a compressed file format (*.zip, *.tar.gz, *.rar).

If you right-click the picture file and then click on e-mail, you will be presented with choices of picture size. Choose one and it will open your e-mail with the pic attached, ready to mail. Your original pic remains untouched.

Picture resizing i.e. for e-mailing

You do that on your computer. Right-click the pic and choose e-mail. A dialogue box will open and you can click on more choices for sizes. After you make your choice, your regular e-mail dialogue box will open. Your original picture is not changed using this method.

Frank, there are limits of attachments with all email servers. So you must restrict the size of the pics. From your side the PC sends the pic but the server does not accept the over size. So, you have to either resize the pics or send a few at a time. Send more number of emails than one with large attachments.

I am unable to recieve mms. My phone says "A too large message was blocked", but in my memory status I have 4960k. Please help!

The message was too large to send. ATT limits the size of MMS attachments so the sender needs to try and lower size by sending lower quality pics or cropping pics to smaller size, thus lowering file size.

Cannot send large email attachment on Snow Leopard Mail

I ran into this problem back in October and found a solution. By default EWS limits attachment sizes to ~ 8MB. You can customize the size limit by making changes on the Exchange 2007 server.
Modify C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\Owa\web.config and C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\exchweb\EWS\web.config
Path will vary depending on your Exchange installation. Search for maxRequestLength in both files. Replace with a figure that doubles the actual allowed file size. In my testing 50000KB = 25MB attachment being allowed. Note there are other settings in the GUI of Exchange that can also limit file send size and are well documented in Microsoft KB. Note2: You will have to make this change again after every Exchange service pack.

Box with cross in top left corner of photo unable to open

It may be that the original photo is too large and exceeds either theirs or your ISP's attachment limit.  Talk to the people sending you these messages and find out how big the pics are.  They may need to resize to a smaller file size before they send them.

Hi , I suspect that your picture files are too big, to transfer to the provided e-mail function of your software. Try changing the resolution to the lowest size a try a few shots. And try to send again. You should be able to save your pictures in a specified directory on your hard drive. You then can attach them to i.e. Microsoft Outlook, or similair e-mail program. I hope that helps.
