Sounds like bobbin isn't inserted in the bobbin shuttle correctly. Make sure to follow arrows shown on shuttle assembly so that thread is exiting bobbin correctly. Make sure your setting is for a normal straight stitch and tensioning adjustment is set at a low number. Some machines have 100 stitches or more and two or three feet to choose from. Remove foot and use another. Experiment with settings for stitch-types and adjust them all. If machine is under guarantee, return it. Some are just BAD.

I tried to tighten tension on top of the macine. The bottom thread is still not stiching, it is loose and looks like a thread with little loops on it.

Be sure your needle is in correctly, the flat side of the needle should be facing AWAY from you (or the front of the machine). Having the needle position incorrect will do this.

I bought this for my granddaughter. we just tried it for the first time and it doesn't sew. It works, looks like all is going well but does not stich.

Assuming that this is the first time you use a sewing machine I'd tell you that you don't have the thread properly looped. Read the book and insert both threads in it step by step. But if you are skilled at sewing, then the machine may be defective

Singer confidence 7467 bobbin thread issues

Have you checked that under the foot plate is clean sometimes a bit of fluff or thread collects there, and are you threading the needle the right way. check with the manual for the machine. Also check which way the manual recommends the bobbin thread is unwinding clockwise or anticlockwise. Hope this is helpful,

When iam stiching the bobbin thread is not interlocking with the pool thread ,the straight stich is not stiching properly

Do you have thread in your bobbin?
Is your needle fully inserted in the needle bar?
Is it the right needle for the machine?
Is your needle damaged, bent or dull?

Tension setting set on five allows top stich to be pulled out easily. Higher or lower settings seem to have no effect

Are you sure you're threading the machine up with the foot lifted ... if not, the thread may not lay properly in the tension discs and you wont be able to adjust the tension properly. Thread the machine up with two colours top and bottom and check whether the stitch is being formed properly - the two colours should pretty-much be on the correct sids of the material.

When i try to sew after i have pulled the bobbin thread through no stiches are formed both threads are on top but no stiches are formed

Be sure your bobbin is inserted correctly. This is usually the main cause for the stitch not being made. If that's not the answer, be sure the upper threading is correct. If a thread guide is not threaded or if the thread does not go between the tension plates, this might cause your problem. And of course, make sure the needle is inserted with the groove toward you and that it is inserted completely in the needle channel. If none of these are the problem, the bobbin case may need to be adjusted or checked for burrs. I really hope this helps you. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my advice.

My top stich is tight, but bottom is loose of my singer sewing machine.

Think in opposites... the top stitch is formed by the bottom thread tension and the bottom of the stitch by the top. So either the bobbin thread is too tight or the top thread is too loose. Check the bobbin thread first as that is the one most overlook. It should come out of the bobbin without having to yank it hard but it should have a little resistance.

Singer sewing machine stiches not forming & thread bunching

Sounds like what is called bird nests or thread nests. The top thread is not seated completely in the tension disk.

Remove the top thread completely from the machine.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Verify the thread path is correct.

Now, retest your machine.
