I went to the settings and found no format option. The model number is NS-DPF3G 3.5 Digital Picture Frame. The user manual didn't give me info on how to format and the instructions for copying pictures to the memory card didn't seem to work. The instructions
did say to get Memory Card Formats - SD,SDHC,MMC. I got the SDHC.

Hi,
First format new memory card in picture frame, find format option in setting menu of picture frame.
Then connect picture frame with computer via usb cable and upload pictures from computer to picture frame (files will go in memory card).
Hope these info will help you, detailed info would be available in supplied user manual of picture frame.
Let me know model number of picture frame if you have additional question.
Thanks.

OK, insert memory card in photo frame, plug usb cable and connect it with Computer, turn On photo frame, Windows will detect New Hardware Found and install its necessary drivers automatically, when computer shows new hardware is ready to use, click on Start > My Computer and look for Removable Disk icon, click it and paste picture files in Removable Disk, turn Off photo frame and disconnect usb cable and turn On power of photo frame to view uploaded pictures in memory card.
This photo frame will show only JPEG format picture files.
    Thanks.

How do you load pictures on a pandigital picture

Hello there,

The Pandigital picture frame saves its image files on the memory card. You can put pictures in memory card by inserting it to a memory card reader on the computer and copying pictures to it. Tthe picture frame, then reads the files on the memory card.

Should you need further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using FixYa.

Don't know how to download from my memory card

You can do this one of three ways.

1.) You can insert the Memory Card directly into the Frame

2.) You can connect to your PC or MAC with the camera (Memory Card still inside the Camera)
and Upload the Photos to a File. Then Connect your Frame into your PC or MAC and download them to the Frame.

3.) Connect the camera directly to the frame. (This may cause formatting issues though)

I can't transfer pictures from my computer to my digital frame. When I connect my usb cable to my computer from my digital frame , the frame displays "Connected to computer. Use PC interface to copy files....

You can start copying pictures to SV811 digital picture frame if you get the message “Use PC interface to copy files.” Here are the steps:

Copy pictures, videos, and music between your frame and computer, using your computer's normal file copying tools:

1. Connect the USB cable from the frame to your computer
2. On your computer, open My Computer or Windows Explorer.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

3. Navigate to the pictures you want to copy. Then drag and drop them to the new location.
4. Unplug the USB cable to view your copied pictures.

Copying pictures from EasyShare software:

1. Install EasyShare software (free download at www.kodak.com/go/sw )
2. Connect the USB cable.
3. On your computer, open EasyShare software. Select the pictures in My Collection and drag them into the Picture tray.
4. In the menu bar, select File and then Copy to the Kodak Drive letter.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

5. Select the frame source to which you are copying.
6. Select Best for Digital Picture Frame to reduce the resolution of the pictures you are copying. Full resolution is unnecessary and quickly fills up the frame's memory.
7. Click Copy. Pictures are copied to your frame.
8. Unplug the USB cable and press “Home” icon to navigate to your copied pictures.

Use an sd memory card. Transfer your pictures from your camera or computer to the card then put the card in the slot on the frame. You can buy them for as little as six dollars.

What kind of adapter do I need to connect insignia NS-DPF7WA-09 digital picture frame through a USB port to download pictures off my computer? Is there as adapter for the Olympia SmartMedia memory card...

Hello,
According to my research with the information you have posted it should come with a 2.0 usb interface with the model number you gave. I found the product information for the model number you gave here. In case it does not have one, I researched for the olympia smart media memory card adapter and came up with the following adapters. If you scroll down you will see the different types of adapters that will connect via usb port and you can place a memory card in it or some you can connect directly to the picture from your computer. Just make sure before you order you check all the information to confirm compatibility. Hope this help and let me know if you need further assistance.
