SOURCE: Utilitech Self-Adjusting Wall Timer- #0192773.

The day of the week display is very high in the display. You may not even see it if you don't squat down a little. Once you get the point where the on time is showing but not blinking, pressing the or - keys will cycle you through thedays of the week an then to where the entire week is displayed or only part of it. At first i did not even know it was happening because the white housing obscires the days of the week from normal viewing position. You will have to repeat day of the week selection again on the off time just as above. This timer should allow you to use the multiple settings to make a weekday setting and a separate weekend setting,

Installed Utilitech 192773. The lights works, the backlight display comes on light blue but there is not numbers on the digital digital display

Reset timer, and see if that fixes problem
Use toothpick or paper clip to press reset button, or refer to instruction sheet, or copy following link.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

I have tested this utilitec timer, and using reset button will repair most problems.
If not, then Timer has 1 year warranty against defect, but it is easier to buy new timer at Lowes, and return defective timer in new package and report timer as defective.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UTILITECH SELF-ADJUSTING WALL TIMER MAKE NO SENSE! iNSTALLED, BUT HAVE TO TURN PORCH LIGHT ON MANUALLY EACH DAY; ALSO COMES ON SOMETIMES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! HELP!

1) Sounds like you have timer wired correctly.
The wiring is confusing for many people, so it's apparent you're a quality electrician.

2) There are no repairs for defective timer, but timer can be reset using reset button.
Reset will clear program conflicts and overlaps that cause timer not to operate as expected.

3) Model number of Utilitec timer is not given, so expert has to guess which fork in the road you want to choose.

4) If you have 0192773 timer and want do-it-yourself solution, open following link for larger print and photo illustrations that make programming easier.

6) At any point, you can add a comment and ask very specific question about any part of the instructions for either in-wall Utilitec timer, or any Utilitec timer, or ask a question about almost any 60Hz timer on the market today.
That comment sends an e-mail, and then I will respond.
I have tested both Utilitec in-wall timers.

If resetting timer does not restore functionality, and timer has power, and you checked that LIGHT BULB is good, then timer has gone bad.
To double-check circuit, replace timer with ordinary on-off switch and see if it works.
Warranty: buy new 0192773 timer at Lowes, and return broken one inside new package.

Manual for this timer says to reset timer when encountering a problem.
Just press reset button for 3-4 seconds, and then re-program timer using instructions on following page.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

I have tested this timer, and it is a good timer with typically difficult programming because of Astro option, but all these in-wall timers have 1 year limited warranty.
You can buy another one at Lowes, and then return defective one in new package if necessary.

I couldn't find the instructions online, however, you can go to just about any Commercial copying place and get an enlargement of the instructions that came with the device for a nominal fee.
