Some tape can help that! I had the same problem with a Memory Stick PRO Duo. You can see photos of the fix here:

Since it is wedged in so far, you should be able to pull it out by using a needle nose plier. The port is probably bad now.

Can u please illustrate how i insert a memory card in to my pc?

Hi there,

It's quite simple and doesn't need much illustration, just insert the memory card into a slot that looks like this, depending what your memory card looks like:

My sony vaoi vgn a217m will not boot from memory stick. Even when i put the "removable drive" as no 1 in the boot sequence in the bios

Hi:
There is a good chance your memory stick isn't bootable. You can go to my computer, select the memory stick, format it, and check the box to make start up disk.

Do you need an adapter 4 a memory stick pro duo in a 5 in 1 read

No, just insert the Memory Card in the 5-in-1 Card Reader slot. The Memory Card will appear on the "My Computer" or "Computer" window. Click on that to open the contents of the Memory Card.

Good Luck!!!!!!

There is a covered slot on the left side. A certain pressure point opens the flap where this memory stick can be fitted in that slot...sodeep
