Hopefully you have checked the capacitor. Most of the time when the fan motor does not start the capacitor is bad. Motors usually quit when the bearings fail. The capacitor is the first item of the first link on this page.

Hi, I am not sure what you are wanting to know? If you want to know the size of the a/c tonnage wise, its 5,000 b t u's short of being a 1 ton unit. There is 12,000 b t u's of cooling per each ton. 2 tons would be 24,000 b t u's, 30, a 2 1/2 ton unit and so on. If this is not what you needed to know, please get back to me and let me know. Is the fan blowing. If so your compressor is probably the source. If the fan isn't blowing you might have a bad fan motor
