There are two ways to do this. First you can call Gateway support and they can provide you with a master passcode for your system. Second option is to open up your laptop and remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes and plug it back in to reset the passcode. To be sure you can short the two pins that connect it to the motherboard with a paperclip.
