Question about Pioneer AVIC-N2 Car DVD Player
Ok i tried but no good. Well the problem started about 3 weeks ago. I went to hit the source button and it did not work. I then disconnected the cable to the hide away unit under the seat and the buttons started working again. I did this a couple of times but no w nothing works
Sounds like a loose connection or a short in the circuitry.
It will have to be opened and checked for loose connections and for anything else that may suggest why the problem is occuring. If you are not comfortable doing this then don't. As long as you have it unplugged for an hour, it shouldn't produce an electrical shock if there should be any charge still stored in the system. If you aren't comfortable with this, then take it to an electronics store like radio shack but if you want to start taking apart, go ahead. Ask if you have any questions with doing this and I would be glad to help. You will need to mainly follow the wires from the buttons back to the board and see how they look and test connections if you can. good luck
