Question about HP PhotoSmart C4280 Laser Printer
After scanning your first page, click accept, and then save the file. A drop down box will ask you if you'd like to scan another page. Click Yes.
-Check your preferences to make sure you've asked HP Scan Pro to prompt you to scan additional pages.
-Check to make sure you told HP Scan Pro you're scanning documents and not pictures. (If you're not sure, hold down "New Scan" in the top left hand corner and see whether documents or pictures is checked.)

After scanning one page .. do not save the page but choose "add another image /page option " and scan accordingly.. and save the entire document after you are done with the scanning of all the pages.

For you to be able to scan multiple pages using the .pdf and save it in one file, here are the steps that i want you to follow.
1. Open the Solution Center.
2. Click on Settings, then go to scan settings.
3. Click on Scan preferences.
4. Make sure that the "Prompt for additional scans from glass/TMA has a checkmark. then click OKAY.
1. Solution Center is open, click on Scan documents.
2. Scan document settings is open, choose SCAN TO: .pdf and file type is .pdf
3. Click on SCAN below. It will start scanning, and just click on ACCEPT everytime it gives preview on each document.

Typically it is possible, in advanced settings for scanning it will typically give you an option to scan multiple pages into one document.

open adobe acrobat..not reader, has no ability to create pdf's, and go to file, create pdf, from scanner
