Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

Ce0682 cordless mouse

A friend gave me his cordless mouse and receiver. I plugged it in but it does not work. Without the instructions, I don't know how to get it to work. Do I need to load a driver. I appreciate whatever instructions you can give me to make it work.

Somebody gave me a Logitech cordless mouse without instructions how can I get it to work on my laptop???

Plug in the bluetooth detection USB into the PC and the device will be detected and installed. Now the mouse must have the battery in the unit so that it will communicate to the port and work just like your corded mouse.

Wireless mouse stopped working P/N 810-000215

There's a couple of things you can check:
1. Check that there are good batteries in the mouse.
2. Check that the connection on the receiver to the computer is good. Re-seat it (unplug it and plug it back in) to be sure.
3. check the synchronization of the mouse to the receiver. Push the button on the bottom of the mouse and the button on the receiver and see if that helps.

If not, then shut the machine down, and start it up without the mouse receiver attached, then plug it in when the login screen or "welcome" screen comes up. it might take a minute or two to sense that it's there, but that should be the final test. I have not had a single broken logitech mouse, and have usually given them to a friend when I upgraded to a newer, better one. If the steps I outlines don't work, then think about replacing it. THere are decent sets now including the MK300 series which I'm typing on now that are economical and have decent range and functions.

Wireless mouse not registering with my computer

When you plug the receiver into the computer, what happens? Does Windows see the device? If it does not then the device may be defective. Most cordless receivers plug into USB ports. Try different USB ports.

Cordless Mouse #CE0682

The mouse is not supposed to go off when the computer is turned off. But it does have three modes so that it can recognize the power it needs to use: in use mode, temporary not in use mode, and long-term or overnight not in use modes. The red light should flicker in the second mode and should dim in the third mode. If you want to save batteries though, you can keep taking them out.

Logitech wireless mouse

First I'd reinstall the CD software that came with the Keyboard and mouse. Then I'd try the following.
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.

Also check to see if you have enough memory to run all these functions.
Hope this helps. Bud
