Wd62628 after you plug tv in it will flash for about 70 sec. then when you turn set on set will power up, get a blue screen for about 20 sec. then will turn off, like being unpluged, then start blinking another 70 times.

Hi,
When did you replaced lamp in tv last time?
If lamp has not been replaced in last 2-3 years then its time to get it replaced as weak lamp, that has reached to end of working life, can cause that symptoms in tv.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Do not unplug tv, let it shut off on its own then preform error code check to read it out.
Unplugging will reset that error code.

OK, it sounds power supply board issue as standby power supply is not providing sufficient volts to system control section and it does not boot up properly.
Check standby volts output in power supply board with multimeter.
Do you have service manual copy of this model?

    -15 v reads 18.28 v

If that is correct then check why it is +18V instead of -15V

OK, last option is to swap boards in ok tv to find out what board is causing problem. I suspect interface board that drives light engine.

charlie the proble has something to do with the tv guide here is a response from an older post Un plug the power to the Plasma Screen and also to the Media Receiver for ten minutes. Disconnect the off the air antennas both A and B. After ten minutes plug in the plasma screen then the media receiver and turn on wi the remote control. You should now be back in operation. I was. Also It may not be a bad digital tuner. The TV Guide feature is active even when the zip code is set to all 0s so if you have an over the air antenna attached the TV will look for the TV Guide info and if it can not find it because of a weak signal or the chanel it is tuned to does not carry that information the TV thinks that tuner does not work which triggers the 12 flashes. Also on power up the gray box with the waring message "Plasma Display Starting Up, Please Wait" appears and the screen is blank.

From the remote select menu and reset the settings to factory default. It might become alright. Else, switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours.

I have the same problem- however, a simple solution is to unplug the power, wait for about 20 secs, and plug it back in, and the screen will turn on... You may also take the screen and tilt it backwards until it turns on....
