Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies

I have a lexmark e250dn printer. Today the printer has stopped working. The help ! indicator on the printer is an orange color as well as the toner/and drum indicator is an orange color.The ready indicator is not coming on blue. This previous week I replaced the tone and drum (the frame that goes around the toner) The toner/drum indicator has been orange since. The message that comes out of the printer is: The printer has stopped because the photoconductor kit has reached the end of its usefull life. Please replace the photoconductor kit to prevent printer damage and continue printing. Is there a tab or a certain step to take when changing the photoconductor kit? I await your reply

Here is how to reset the photoconductor kit counter:

1. Make sure the new kit is installed and the printer is turned ON.

2. Open the front panel.

3. Hold the Cancel button in until the front panel LEDs flash.

4. Close the front panel

Turn off the printer Open front door Press and hold "Continue" (big botton) and turn on the printer until the Help indicator (!) light is orange Press slowly 5 times Cancel botton: Toner/Drum light and Continue must be turned on. Press and Hold Continue Botton until all Leds flash quickly. Turn off the printer Wait 5 seconds Turn on the printer. Enjoy

The printer has a service error, and printing has stopped. Press Continue twice to see the secondary code. The secondary code will indicate where to locate the problem.

My printer lexmark model E250DN....the problems it`s when complete put back the tone some noisy came from printer...noisy like stuck...already refill the paper...i try again pull out he...

The noise coming from the printer is an indication that there is a hardware issue. It would be best to call Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.

My Lexmark E250dn is constantly having paper jams, if I print more than 10 pages at a time I always have to stop and fix it, are there any solutions?

Check the paper feed path if everything is cleaned out and aswell your exit sensor.

If that dosent help clean you pick up rollers.

Also give me more details on more or less where it jams in the printer?

Hi, my name is alex a Computer - printer technician i have a lexmark e250dn all lights are blinking,indicating a service error ,sometimes all the lights are just on and not blinking ,i have tried to...

If you can see an error code and let us know, that would be good.
Failing which, you could try re-seating the cables connecting the print head, fan, etc to the system board.
If the error was due to low voltage, your printer might have started working again by now. :)

My Lexmark E250DN said it needed a new Photoconductor so we replaced and it still says we need a new photo conductor, How do I fix this?

Whenever you replace the photoconductor unit, remember to reset the PC counter. With the printer powered on, open the front door/cover. Press and hold the cancel button until all the lights flash. This indicates that the photoconductor page count has been reset. Hope this helps. Thank you for choosing Lexmark.

I changed the toner on my Lexmark E250dn and now it has the "!" light on all the time and won't print. It's a new cartridge what is going on?

"!" means error.

Try removing cartridge and installing it again and might be one of the cartridge missing.

Try operating manual. Might helps, there are lots of reason for the error

Reinstall the drivers and see if it works.

Otherwise unplug the printer from the power and leave it without power for 10 minutes. Than plug it back in and let me know if it helped.
